The Facebook Like button lets you share content you like with friends on Facebook.

in your Facebook News Feed with a link back to this page. The number next to the
Like button shows how many people have liked this page.
This requires a Facebook account.
The Google +1 button (this will not be visible on Internet Explorer Version 7 or
earlier) is similar to the Facebook like button but works with google searches.
The +1 button is shorthand for "this is pretty cool" or "you should check this out.
Click +1 to publicly give something your stamp of approval. If you +1 a page and
then that page shows up in a friends search results, your friend will see your +1.
Your +1s can help friends, contacts, and others on the web find the best stuff when
they search. The +1 button was just released on 6/2/2011 so its pretty new and you
may not have heard of it yet.
